SAMLEHRI, AMBALA, HARYANA
Seema joined the Usha Silai School Program in 2015, when she was in utmost need of livelihood. The village which she comes from is a hub of drug addicts, which has also affected her family, her father was a drug addict and now her brothers are following on the same path of addiction. She somehow could complete her education till 8th standard post which it was difficult for her to continue.
Her father and brothers spent all their savings and left the family in financial crisis; this was when Seema decided to do something and came forward to start her Usha Silai School.
She has trained 20 girls in her village and has also conducted the classes in other villages to increase her income, she is earning on an average Rs. 10,000 per month through her Silai School
Seema conveys her gratitude to Usha Silai School Program and quotes that “Usha Silai School came into her life when she has left all the hopes”
